A Bluebell Walk

The bluebell woods of England are in my top ten beautiful things about this country.  I love the smell that envelopes you as you walk down a bluebell lined path.  It also feel so otherworldly to look out at a landscape blanketed in vivid blue-violet that just a few days previous was a very normal green.  I always flock to the nearest bluebell wood, and frequently, during their season and once they die off I wait in anticipation until they arrive again the next year.  I had an email from a community member asking if I would please make videos of the natural spaces I am fortunate enough to visit due to where I live.  She is stuck in an urban environment and is missing her trips to the countryside.  So this is for her.

A Bluebell Walk

This video clip is of the same part of the woodland that I took the video of the bird song.  It is incredible to me that it can look so different in just a few days.  I hope you enjoy the video.

Until next time, stay safe and keep in touch.  If you are near a bluebell wood and are able to get out do take a short video or photo and share it with us on Facebooktwitter and/or instagram.  We would love to see where you are.

Happy viewing!
