Hello lovely Tree House Learning community!
Today we are doing something a little different. Today I am sending you a few links of organisations that are doing there best to ease the home education burden and are offering free nature-themed educational resources, just like we are. So, your activity today is to have a look at what is on offer to see what fun you can have learning about and with nature while learning from home.
- WWT have launched a Home Learning Hub. Every Monday morning they will add new resources that are linked to the primary curriculum
- The Wildlife Trusts have a host of activities listed on their website under the section Looking After Yourself and Nature, which have been added specifically for this time.
- The Woodland Trust have many great activities in their blog. I found them by choosing the Children and Families category.
- The National Trust have some suggestions of things to do at home from baking to gardening to a nature challenge to discover small moments of joy in nature, which I love.
There are, of course, so many others doing so much to help us stay connected to nature during this time. These are just a few to get you started. I do hope you find something wonderful in these links. Let us know which site you find the most useful, which activities you tried and which was your favourite. Stay connected to us on social media we are on Facebook, twitter and/or instagram.
Happy Surfing!
