Today’s activity is one we do frequently out in the woods and is great fun to do at this time of year and then check back in a few weeks to see how things have changed.  The world (other than humans this year) is coming back to life after a winter’s slumber and things wake up at different times so you will get different results at different times.  Try it and see.

Mini Beast Spotting

If you have a printer at home you can print this one off and head outside.  It doesn’t matter where as everywhere will have different results and that makes this an interesting activity to repeat.  Maybe you can take an insect identification guide with you, if you have one, in case you come across anything that is not on the sheet.
